He grew some figs and did a lot of walking.

We have another local saint called Cuthman, he used to take his old mum around in a wheelbarrow thing he designed himself. Early St Sinclair.

Have you seen this? Sent to Stanley Johnson from Boris's housemaster at Eton:

Writing of him in a school report in April 1982, he said: “Boris really has adopted a disgracefully cavalier attitude to his classical studies . . . Boris sometimes seems affronted when criticised for what amounts to a gross failure of responsibility (and surprised at the same time that he was not appointed Captain of the School for next half): I think he honestly believes that it is churlish of us not to regard him as an exception, one who should be free of the network of obligation which binds everyone else.”

I still have more confidence in him than I ever did in David Cameron who thought he was the second coming of Margaret Thatcher, in a dilute form!

The canonization of Dirty Dick reminds me of Thatchers barony! Whyever did she get that FGS? As for it passing to that corrupt and coddled creature who is her son, well that beggars belief.

Wish you had not mentioned jammie dodgers, Island. I have been meaning to make some for several days now and we are running wondrous low on biscuits.

Dick Dastardly :-D

Anyone think Boris is cosying up to the Russians - and not through Dom Cummings?
