Sharron

Sharron Report 26 Jul 2020 15:08

Which were the top Marx?

Allan

Allan Report 24 Jul 2020 22:02

Groucho came from a different branch of the family which never quite agreed, with what Karl and his mates were doing.

That side of the family was the good Marx

Sharron

Sharron Report 24 Jul 2020 12:32

Can I just say, the right wing British National Party - BNP - (formed in 1982) stole their name!

I was looking at a doll I've had since I was 1 year old, with a view to repairing it (my elder brothers used it to practice 'drop kicks').
I wondered whether Amanda (I have no idea why I called her that!) had a makers name - she did. 'BND'. Upon further research, I found out this stands for 'British National Doll'.

So, either my doll was the original right wing, racist, fascist,(In which case my brothers are forgiven) or the BNP stole their name - from a doll making company! :-D :-D

Marx didn't have any brothers, only the one sister, Onya.

She rejected communism and has been always been known in Australia as good Onya

Maggie, now don't be silly. Of course Engels was not fixated on corners. They are right Engles and he would have had to have been a left Engle wouldn't he? Otherwise the Marx brothers would not have wanted to star with him!

My father was a music hall magician. His specialty act was the sawing a person in two act.

He spent many hours practicing at home to perfect the act.

It used to drive my mum and my two halve brothers crazy
