	Elizabeth is euite correct. When you login on the new Kindle with the same account details it will automatically bring in all of your existing books etc. The fact that it is missing in action might be a complication - did you tell Amazon about the loss ?

	To be honest all my PC's , monitors Kindles to date have all been bought used, second hand, as has a music centre I never use. Through plus years all my cars were bought second hand. The Kindle I bought from Amazon yesterday, NEW, breaks that pattern.

	Researching: Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL
