It's Good Friday here but very reduced celebrations this year.

Warm day here, 23 C at 9 am, felt overdressed with a cardy on.

Priya fast asleep as usual - gently snoring in the background.

Only 12 Deg at the mo but the sun is out and on our sheltered patio it is rather pleasant.

Yes, Easter was rather subdued here with all the Churches closed :-(

We have moved from substandard schooling to no schooling; from weekly shopping to stockpiling; from religious freedom to closed churches; from creed to greed; from not particularly knowing our neighbours very well long before 'keep your distance' to begging for their assistance; from police catching drunken drivers to police stopping cars at random while the rest of us end up with lock-down lethargy.

Doesn’t this isolation thingy do strange things to some?
R has taken to baking, yes you read right, made Rock Cakes for the
first time yesterday and they were lovely. He has been searching for flour
for a couple of weeks now and struck the mother load yesterday.
If I knew that a couple of bags of Self-raising and Plain flour could made
him so happy would have bought him some 60 years ago :-D

I try to buy things that don't need ironing as well as 'catching' K and asking him to 'just run the iron over this' when he's ironing his shirts.

Maddie, I am wearing the old ones while I am dancing online. Saving the new ones for best.
