Pat, we remotely attend my uncle's funeral last year as we couldn't attend due to family commitments. It was good to be able to do so.

I think it may be more difficult for that to happen this year because of sheer numbers. I've not checked though I know it is not happening on this sad occasion.

There will be a memorial service for him at a later date as only his widow, child and grandchildren will be able to attend. His widow is strong and is insisting that no one visits her during the current crisis - and that includes family, so she will see them at the funeral then after lockdown is lifted.
