I'm annoyed that there isn't more of an effort to replenish stocks of hand sanitiser :-0

Yes, I have some of that Ann, thanks. It was not strong enough for me when I had a very bad outbreak of eczema some years ago but it seems to be doing the trick now :-)

The next engineer that come here to fit the boiler part will have a shock when I confront him at the door wearing a mask and insisting I put hand sanitiser on his hands! :-D :-D :-D

It’s crazy Von..can’t get it anywhere here now, but I think soap and water is just as good. My local Home Bargains/the girls were saying people were buying 30 bottles in one go :-0 :-0

Soap and hot water has proven much more effective at killing germs than anti-bacterial cleaners. I tend to use both though, one after the other :-D :-D

But the sanitizer has Alcohol in which is what you need especially if you are out

Jem...the one Iam on about comes in a large pump action bottle...it’s very thick :-)

Normal soap is just as good - it's the washing that's important - change hand towels and washing up towels every day a spot of dettol won't go amiss in the wash.

I'm not concerned in the house - plenty of soap and water but it's when you are out.

We were keeping some in the car but that will run out soon.

I think I'm more annoyed at the dismissive way they say we can't get any and don't know when it will be available :-| :-| :-|

I am allergic to antibacterial soaps :-D

I think before long they will insist on masks in public. That would be good as you would not feel silly if everyone was wearing them.

When we were on our way to a hospital appointment for OH yesterday, an elderly couple past us in a car both wearing masks. I think it was sensible if they have underlying health issues

Very annoying Von, considering our government is ramming home the use of sanitising our hands.

They should double the production...and all shops that stock it should only be allowed to sell so many per person

I think they probably have more than doubled their production Ann. People are understandably panic buying them
