A lady out here, her husband's father died in WW2. They were from Belgium but he sent his wife and children to UK just before Belgium was invaded. He was in the resistance, mainly getting aircrew back via Spain. He was caught towards the end and the Nazis decided no prisoners to live so put them in a barn and burnt it. :-0

How sad :-( :-(

Yes Pat I think so....his B-24 was shot down over France and he eventually treks over the Pyrenees
