I remember one funny comment about prats.

It may have been in a Steptoe and Son episode where one character said that he went to a firm of Solicitors called Pratt, Pratt, Brown and Pratt.

He actually saw Mr Brown, whom the character described as the biggest prat in the firm

I have no-one with the surname Pratt in my tree, definitely no I Pratt.
Methinks the word in mind was 'prat'.

Interesting Etymopogy:
From Middle English prat, from Old English præt, prætt (“trick, prank, craft, art, wile”),
from Proto-Germanic *prattuz (“boastful talk, deceit”),
from Proto-Indo-European *brodno- (“to wander about”). Cognate with Saterland Frisian prat, Dutch pret (“fun, pleasure, gaity”), obsolete Dutch prat (“cunning, strategem, scheme, a prideful display, arrogance”), Low German prot, Norwegian prette (“trick”), Icelandic prettur (“a trick”). Related to pretty.

Who'd a thought it! - and there's lots more!
:-D :-D

Anathema; shocking. Quick send for the Fun Police, all such posts must be extirpated.

Oh come on it's a light-hearted thread...just smile and enjoy the fact someone still posts on here and tries to make others laugh.
