Just sitting down to a baguette for brunch, having missed breakfast as I was kept in the dark like a mushroom.

The YU is staying while Dtr is first in Manchster then off to Glasgow. Good job he got showered after cricket last night because I was about to wake him up for breakfast with me at 7.15 when Dtr told me I had to be out to pick his friend up, as usual, at 7.30. No one had told me and I though it was the usual routine, dropping off the Yu at around 8 so they could walk to school for half of the journey. He managed to show his face the water, clean his teeth and take a banana into the car for his breakfast.

Tomorrow morning I will be the Girl Guide I never was - and I'll be prepared. :-D :-D
