Oops, I am mixing it up with the three year experiment from 1968 where we stayed on GMT + 1 all year round. Just looked it up on good old Google. |

From 1968-1971 the UK had summer time all the year round. The sleepy southern cows didn't care but the canny Scots cows with big sharp horns were mad as hell getting breakfast and milking late. It also annoyed Para Handy. |
