I think it would have been a huge shock for our government, not to mention the Royal family, when he, who hated the English, was appointed Ambassador in London during that time. What had our citizens done to deserve him and Lord Haw Haw, I wonder?

And, yes, I believe his underhand dealings with the wrong people led to the demise of JFK and Bobby. They appeared to be on a course directly opposite that which their father had 'sold his soul for.'

I began to believe that JFK was cut of the same cloth when media coverage announced that he had 'solved' the Cuba crisis without any mention of the quid pro quo involving USA naval withdrawal elsewhere. After all, the Apple does not fall far from the tree, as the saying goes.
