Shaun MagicWales is right in telling us that Wales Centre, Jonathan (Jon) Davies will receive his 50th Cap today.



Jonathan was born in SOLIHULL, England to Welsh parents.

When he was still very young, his parents moved back to Wales.
The family settled in Bancyfelin, Carmarthenshire, where his parents ran The Fox & Hounds Public House.
This was where Jonathan’s nickname “FOX” came from.

This nickname differentiates him from Jonathan Davies, Wales International Player of the 1980/90s turned Commentator, who is known as Jonathan “JIFFY” Davies.
Our present International Player is known as Jonathan “FOX” Davies.


Jonathan, who has recently signed a dual contract with the WRU, is back with The Scarlets, based in Pemberton, Llanelli.
Here he resumes his position, and will play alongside his brother JAMES DAVIES. Both are FLUENT WELSH SPEAKERS.


Jonathan plays at Centre, wearing a number 13 Shirt.
In the Wales Team he partners JAMIE ROBERTS (12) and they make a phenomenal combination.
