What good news. I hope your good progress continues Gwen, I am sure it will with good food and exercise and the stimulation of being able to talk with friends and family and do your drawings etc, you will be well enough to get home for Christmas.

Maybe you can set up a business while you are there doing sketches for the other patients to give as pressies, you could make loads of money lol

Take care and watch where you pedal, don't want you doing the other sort of peddling lol or you will be arrested.

love and hugs

Dizzi phoned here today. After I told Dizzi about this thread, she asked me to let you all know she is thinking of you all & to thank you for all your support & get well wish's.

Dizzi is still in need of much rest & finds things hard to do. I told her to just do as the doctors say & get a little better each day, that is all any of us want so she can return home. Lets hope the doctors get her sorted out sooner rather than later.

We visited Dizzi again today. She is looking a bit better & slowly getting stronger, still a little way to go before she is ready to go home, but as we told her there is a whole week to go before Christmas

We wheeled her down to the coffee shop for a latte :-D :-D

Wonderful news that Dizzi has been able to escape from the ward albeit for a little while to enjoy a coffee with family and friends, something that we all take for granted but is a huge step forward for our Dizzi, so very well done our friend.
Thanks now to Carol for your ongoing updates about Dizzi's progress. xx

What a nice post to wake up to this morning, Carol. I am sure your regular visits are doing so much good. Not only for Dizzi but for all of us.

I think it has so far been an absolutely remarkable and steady recovery from something so very serious. Just shows how much fight there is in the old girl edit late middle aged girl :-D :-D

Keep fighting - we all need you back :-D <3
