How long are you away for?

Glad to see Aunty has managed to get a bit of time at the computer. Was beginning to wonder if she'd stuck a garden fork through her foot in the gloom and ended up in A&E!

Well done Maz. You 'are' on a success roll at the moment.

We followed a fire engine today (no blue lights). OH says, 'Quick, get out your camera'. Lol

Sorry YG I was called away from computer. I am away for 10 days in all.

Evening LG. Hope you have a great time....have you started packing yet? Thick jumpers/thin jumpers/T shirts/sandels/wellie boots/ suntan cream/brollies and macs- lol Pity we can't have accurate settled weather forecasts for more than a few days ahead.

I am off out today with Froggy ,We are going to Raby castle with a 2 4 1 from the paper lol ,He moves this month so is getting busy for a while until he is settled .
Andrew goes off to Norfolk for 10 days camping so am waiting until he goes to clear the washing
Then when he gets back he is doing shuttle park and ride for the tall ships so will hardly see him apart from the washing lol
It is a dampish feel outside today but warm

Hope Maz is enjoying herself today. Good afternoon LG. Hope the washing/ironing is taking care of it's self! Trying to get motivated to get rid of the dust....but as it will only come back, what's the point? lol.

Been looking into a night in a cheap hotel in Bucks in Sept. Was hoping to combine a graveyard hunt with a pre-existing appointment, but as the CC bill has just come in, suspect I'll be on a hiding to nothing :(
You can't take it with you, but it would be handy to know how long you have to budget for!

My sentiments exactly DET!! If I knew how long my pension had to last i would know whether I could retire now lol!!

Hi LG - did look at Travel Lodge, but haven't had the opportunity to raise the topic with his nibs.

We are staying at a premier inn for 3 nights week after next to do some tree research in Wiltshire.

morning all we had a lovely day yesterday am out to lunch today with a friend then a break tomorrow
in the potting shed there was a basket of broomsticks and i burst out laughing lol then had to explain to frog lol
I am looking forward to next week too YG will text you tomorrow sometime

LG, have a lovely holiday. I'm quite envious as I will be stuck in these four walls, other than a day out with Maz and a friend the following week!!

BUT, to recompense for that, at long last the council are coming to fix my fence on Monday or Tuesday. It's only taken six months!!! Just in time for me to get it painted and demolished again in the winter!! Oh joy!!

YG - got a suggestion. Once you've sorted out the house/fence etc, why not get an all day bus pass (or use the one you 'may' be entitled to) and pretend to be a tourist? I bet there are loads of interesting places that you've never bothered to visit, just because they are on your doorstep. :)

The Travel Lodge in Bucks has been broached to OH. 'We'll consider it', which is better than an out right NO. Now to stress the time we'd get home...M4/M25 in the rush hour...if we didn't stay over night. Devious or what??? lol

the broomsticks are all in the corner plenty for the lodge members lol DET you are crafty lol

Evening all, Just having a break from the last minute packing bits. Taking my lappy with me and might get on line a little in the evenings who knows. It depends on how good the mobile broadband reception is. Can't turn off mobile DET I have to make sure my furry babies ( THE CATS ) are ok LOL.
YG and Maz don't get into too much mischief LOL

morning all well my furries are OK that is why I am up lol they started fighting about 5am so I kicked them out then tried to go back to sleep .but am still up .
LG have a good rest as if we would get into mischief lol remember the helicopter was not watching us lol in london .
am around today so going to nip into town then get some admin done
