Cold and wet here, must be close to the kids starting school holidays, think tomorrow is the last day for our schools.

This broom handle is so shiny now, I can see my face in it, God I look old!

You hoo! We're back! Arrived home about 14.30 and both are suffering from jet lag. Comp glasses still in the suitcase so can't stay long. Should be able to down load the firemen pics in a day or so...once our brains are in the right Continent lol. Even son in law was looking out for fire engines on your behalf YG. He always had suspicions that I was a bit nutty....now he knows it lol

welcome back DET jet lag poor thing enjoy the unpacking ,going through all the post , doing all the washing then you can relax lol

Hi all, Freezing cold morning. Apart from that everything is fine in this part of the world. I have been working all day, renovating at night, coming home at the witching hour and falling into bed. Will try and catch up over the weekend. Sorry about the broomstick LG it has been very handy for zipping back and forth between the houses, heavens knows I'm tired of driving the car.

We are starting on the exterior this weekend. Ugh!! This means gardening and I can feel my back aching now. Well it is already aching, and I am so looking forward to dirt under my fingernails, which by the way are permanently painted white.

LG, don't worry, you won't have unexpected missiles landing during your visit. I don't think I'm down in the smoke again until the end of November, oh joy!! And that's only if I don't retire before then lol!!
