I think your grandchildren have hogged those beds long enough LG, they're now barred.

I'm glad you're off your diet Aunty because I've just had 4 fingers of KitKat.

Hi LG. Sorry I did not realize you were there. Added an edit to my post and you posted your replies at the same time.

I was certain you had earmarked a least one packet of biccies for yourself. You do have to test them you know, for purity, freshness and flavour.

LG, I was wondering if you could give a job to my friend who lives near you but he's just been given one. I've sent his application to you, perhaps you could send it on to YG - just in case this job he got doesn't work out.

LOL Pauline I think you are right. It must be the wonderful staff they can't wait to visit.

What is so good about going back onto the bad stuff is that you can try out all the new "delicacies" that have come onto the market while you haven't been chocolate munching. So much to choose from, so little time.

And right now I have a hankering for a piece of chocolate mud cake. Fortunately, or unfortunately, whichever way, I do not have chocolate mud cake within a cooee of my grasp.
"OH!! Would you go down the shop and buy me some cake?""

Oooops that wasn't a very nice reply. I think he said no.
Ha! I do have the remains of a block of chocolate hidden in my car. Well if you are going to be bad, you have to be bad big time!!

LaGooner Report 29 Apr 2010 10:27

After 6 weeks going by dog sled, those cookies will be crumbs and stale! Oh well, the Rainbows and Brownies will still like them (I hope). At that price they better LOL.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Apr 2010 21:12

LOL RMS. If they are as good as the last ones they won't last long

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 29 Apr 2010 21:46

RMS I was going to suggest you send them over on the ArsenalArk Royal however there would not even be crumbs if the CPs got hold of them.

I understand from the posts that the object of Maz's affection is working his way closer, geographically speaking, to her side. Wear Valley, is that Durham area. Come on don't laugh I'm still learning your maps.

Freezing cold here this morning, about 9 degrees. Supposed to reach 21 but I think it will be a jacket, a jumper, long pants and boots today. Looks like snow outside, would be the first time ever, but it is cold enough.

RockyMountainShy

RockyMountainShy Report 29 Apr 2010 22:57

That would be a miracle snow at 9 degrees! cold at 9 HHMMM LOL (cough, cough) I mean awwwwwwwwwww so chilly, wrap up nice and warm. (lol)

These cookies are even better, since they took the Trans fat out ! The ArsenalArk Royal probably would have gotten them there faster

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Apr 2010 23:06

Joins RMS in coughing and spluttering over Aunty's snow at 9 degrees lol Go with the jacket and jumper, and trousers for comfort, but boots is a step too far....unless they were made for walking to trace your elusive ancestor!

If/when LG's cookie rations turn up, she can turn it in to a lesson about global economics and the over reliance on air transport lol

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Apr 2010 23:23

LOL DET that sounds too complicated for me.

Just spent ages deleting a whole branch off my tree. Silly me went off at a tangent and got a load of the Bu****s wrong

Hi LG.

At least you have progressed, even if it is backwards lol

RockyMountainShy

RockyMountainShy Report 29 Apr 2010 23:37

Try this one on for size,

While looking at my 'beloved' Barker family I found that in 1901 Mark Barker was a widower, in 1911 HIS WIFE was a widow. How does that work ?!?!?!?!?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Apr 2010 23:38

LOL forgot to add .progressed forwards to and re entered the correct facts. turns out they are a huge branch and are going to take a lot oresearch to fing records. As they are all local I will be taking another trip to council offices to find burial plots and library to check all parish records. That should keep me out of mischief for a while LOL
