Hi All, Good to see the inspection team has its mind on the job. Perhaps Maz will be able to invite the firecrew back for elevenses.

My inquisition before was preparing for the inquisition. I need to gather together the information, make certain I have abided by all the rules and regulations, copy all the papers the inquisitors list on the inquisition preparation sheet and then wait for the day.

Which was today. Tell me how many occupations do you know where someone has the opportunity to look at every sheet of paper, every word, every computer key stroke you have generated for the year.

No they don't actually look at all of it. Pick and choose at random and you don't know which months they will select. And even though you go through all the preparation you are asked questions all day, what's this, where does that fit in, why is this amount shown there etcetera, etcetera.

And me being an obsessive perfectionist spend hours checking everything and then the whole day worrying myself silly.

So that's been my day!!

lol i am still cleaning It is getting sunny here so coffee drunk out with the washing onwards and upwards lol been doing some admin

Hope you peeled back the carpet from the skirting boards when you painted - you might end up with different carpet thicknesses and messy paintwork.

So when does Aunty know when she is out of a job or is being sent for re-training? sounds like an Audit to me (who is not all that good with numbers)

i have sufficient time on friday morning etc to finish the skirts so will leave it all til then .I have made an amazing discovery lol if you clean an uplighter out A it holds loads of dust and B how clean the room looks lol
I hate onsite inspections audits etc we get one once a term though its not my stress now though .
although its sunny its quite chilly and cooling down later on with snow showers possibly in the week .

Hi all, I've had the carpet fitter here today, got a new hall carpet 2 months ago but a line suddenly appeared on it. The shop have sent someone out to replace it for me. I got a bedroom done at the same time and I've just had a closer look at it and I can see a line fault on it as well. Going to have to phone the shop up again and get the manager out to look at this one now.

Maz make sure your new carpet is OK before they lay it.

luckily its stairs so hope it will not be too bad .its hard when they do that though

It seems that everything I get is faulted these days. My new lounge suite had a fault in it and had to be replaced as well.

Suppose I'd better go and ring the shop about the bedroom carpet.......£60 a metre and it's faulted!!

Unfortunately no Red and White Maz !! Sulks LOL.

The frame for a settee we bought in Jan was found to be faulty when they delivered in Feb. Replacement frame supplied is for the wrong model - that was mid March. Now waiting for the correct one and someone to fit it.

TV bought under 2 years ago gets a static like crackle..sometimes - that's been taken back for repair under warranty and we are having to use Beta Males 19in one in the mean time. Quite a come down from 32in...................pass the binoculars lol

its terrible how much is faulty when you buy the products i am sure its a ploy to get us back into the shop again not for the right reasons either .Pauline it will be harder for you no doubt too .I am finished for today lol I have a meal to find but I have done my room and got the other one started so tomorrow morning can finish that one .
i have had about an hour in the garden the dandelions are doing well already .some of my plants arn't even sprouting yet either . so I might have to get some tubs planted up for the wedding if the colour is lacking

Maz I don't know where you get the energy from, I'm worn out just reading what you've done lately. I've got bedding on the line again and I don't want to bring it in because it means I'll have to iron it.....think I'll leave it there a bit longer.

DET I got my replacement suite 4 weeks ago but I've been waiting for it since October. I dread getting anything new now.

lol I am just pushing myself to get the jobs done ,with it being the school hols i dont have anything else to do
And i only have one at home who is not independent but capable to be lol
I do go to bed early though try to read and fall asleep in the process my frog can't keep up .
