You lot should be in bed by now. I keep forgetting your clocks are an hour different. Ours change this Sunday, they either go forward or back. I'll have to wait until the radio tells me which on Sunday morning. Strewth men are handy to have around the place sometimes!!

27C sounds quite good about now - the winter coat had to come out again! Yes, it has been snowing in Scotland and N Ireland. Pretty badly or so it seems according to the news. It snowed down here at the beginning of April 2 years ago, so not unheard of, but not in such quanities as they have had.

morning all Derek you have risk assessed well I see pink custard is piped in at a constant temperature of 63 degrees to keep the bugs out .

Good morning, or evening my time. Very quiet around here. Done my wifely duty and drowned the plants and the lawn. Hope I haven't overwatered the tomatoes.

I am officially on leave. Yes, you can start shaking your collective heads, I do intend to go into work and do some finishing off during the holidays. That's what holidays are for, peace and tranquility while one works.

I managed to get away with using one spoon and a glass for tea tonight. Brilliant, saved all that washing up. Tomorrow I will be indulging in my treat for the March quarter. Hot cross buns. My mouth is watering. I might be able to hold out until one minute after midnight.

Are we sending the CPs on an easter egg hunt. We could hide the eggs around Nut Lodge. Nope that wouldn't work, you chocoholics would have them eaten before the CPs found them. Rubs halo till it shines. Oh believe me I am having heaps of trouble staying away from the stuff. One of my work colleagues walked into my office today and gave me three small chocolate eggs with the words, "I know you don't eat chocolate, but just in case". Oh I thought about it, and then I crossed her off my Christmas Card list!!!

Perhaps it was an April Fool's joke Aunty. OH has just pulled one on me.(that will be his excuse anyway) He set the alarm for 9, woke me up, then turned over and has gone back to sleep himself. Grrr. Probably pays me back for waking him up the other day by using a saucepan and wooden spoon as a drum - lol

Hi Pauline. I think Derek is LG's chief research guru and person in charge of finding lost rellies in a particular area of the UK.

Probably completely hopeless for searches in any other counties, but one must take one's information from whence it is available.

He pops up from time to time. Says hello how's the research going and disappears before I am able to put my big number 9 boot on him and give him another search to complete.

I think LG has warned him his sanity will be endangered if he stays too long on this thread.

Hello Aunty Sherlock..I tend to stalk Gooner whatever Thread she invents or shows up on!!....and she knows she has to behave herself because if she doesn't I'll tell you all her real name!!
But seriously I do a lot of work, mainly in Derbyshire for which i have many many records......Yorkshire and Notts I have records for and less for Lancs. BUT NOT Useless cos i have other irons in the fire!....If any of you are serious about asking for my brilliance then I do have two Derbyshire Threads.......ask and it shall be given....in the meantime I am an excellent cook..and could feed you all in Nutlodge.....
