To hire someone to plough for you you click on them as you would to hire for harvesting and the ploughing option comes up in the list ..... you have to have the influencial neighbour trophy to hire others to plough for you .....
I
f you hire someone who is a neighbour then it costs you less coins than if you hire someone from the market ......

When you plough for someone you get 5 coins and 1 exp point per plot ... The person doing the hiring also gets exp. points .... but I am not sure how many as havn't used this yet lol

How comes some of my neighbours farms look bigger than mine? they seem to have bigger areas of land to plough on and build on too?

On level 15, 17, 19, 21, 23 and 25 you can extend your farm, so if you are lower than level 15 you will have a smaller farm.

To extend your farm, go to the realtors office, it will tell you how much you can extend by and the cost.

Little Ann, when you hire someone to plough for you, you both get 1 exp point. The employee gets 5 coins, and it costs you 10 coins.

If you plough yourself, it will cost you 20 coins and still only 1 exp point.

I might have to go and stride out the size of my neighbours farms and compare them with mine LOL

Thanks TW ... I knew what you got for ploughing for others, just not what they get .... read this morning though that if you use someone other than a neighbour to plough for you it costs you 15 coins instead of 10 for neighbours :)

I am on level 31 and my neighbours are all around the level 30 stage ! but their farms still look bigger than mine lol

be careful if you get someone from market to plough for you - someone was on there saying they hired someone and they ploughed all over the place

Not sure how true that is Scatty .... it says in the rules that only previously harvested fields can be ploughed .... and I wasn't able to plough new fields for my neighbour earlier today ..... so perhaps a glitch ! or someone is telling porky pies LOL

I dont' think it's true, you can only plough harvested or wasted fields, you definitely cannot plough new ones, (on grass). I think thats just a bit of stirring going on.

There is sometimes a problem with hiring to plough the same person who harvested. It doesn't always work. If that happens, just refresh to reload your farm, while the hired person goes out and comes back, it should work then.

Ohhh, I added my last post before I saw yours Jan. Maybe it's just a glitch then, because it definitely says you can only plough harvested fields when hired.

I was hired to harvest on someones farm this morning. It was a huge field of sunflowers. Just one other & myself harvesting...........YIPPEE.....Then after harvesting about 20 square, the system kicked me out.........*pulls out hair*.

Then I was hired to do ploughing........PLOUGHING!!!......One is now landed gentry!..........Tis beneath oneself to dirty ones hands.........lol :o))

There was about 8 of us ploughing & others harvesting. It was mayhem, not in straight lines but odd squares here & there. lol
