Can anyone tell me please what were the most popular areas of Canada to emigrate to in 1970. The family lived in Southampton before they emigrated. |

It usually depended on whether they had family members already in Canada to help them get started. A lot of immigrants ended up in Toronto, Ontario. Many went to British Columbia where the weather is more like the weather back home. Rain! |
