Circus Street liverpool. Where was it?

I have an address from a birth cert 1838. The address is Circus St, Liverpool, sub district Islington. |

It's definately Liverpool as the registration district says Liverpool, sub district Islington. I've google earthed Islington in Liverpool but there's no Circus Street. Doesn't come up on google maps either. |

Hi Circus Street was situated off Byrom Street and Christian Street in Liverpool Town centre not sure if its still there today as the John Moores University covers a large part of that area.The Street was just behind the Liverpool Museum |
