The details I have off the marriage cert are they not enought as I have his occ stone cutter his father was a pitman and Annes father was a Cartman. Could be a connection but the three boys are not there they are in Usworth County Durham by then with Anne Bryson and she appears to have mispelt her name (Brayson) It is her husbands father ect I am trying to find a way back to find! Hiya Reg Thanks for last night A family member only passed this info on to me that is all I haveto go on he died before the 1861 Census and Married in 1852 and managed to father three brothers James 8, Robert 6 my great grandfather, and William 4 no sign of him in 1871 Census though the family were found and Anne Bryson (Brayson) was once again a widow.
