I am looking for Augustus Frederick Charles BALLS born in Aylsham Norfolk in 1865. Mother Sarah Ann Golding BALLS (unmarried at time of his birth). He married in 1892 and I have him on the 1901 with wife and children. I also have him as a child on the 1871.

Crista, I think that it could have originally been either Golden or Golding depending on how emumerators or registrars heard it.

Yes Heather, Sarah was born Aylsham, Norfolk 12th November 1837. I have her birth certificate, parents Golden Balls and Mary Ann Pull.
