What is 'minnie' short for? middle name???

hi i have a great-great aunt called 'minnie' or 'min' her brother was leonard simpkins and sister was rose simpkins b1887........any ideas on what her real name was? They were based in the luton area |

Minnie drivers name was Amelia, not sure if Minnie was short for it or just a different name, but you could try it. |
