Is there anyone out there from Dudley??? I would love to know more about my Stroyd side of the Family !!! I have recieved my g.g grandads W/C and have found out his father was a Richard Stroyd b ab. 1800 Woundered if anyone had 1841 or Parish records to ckeck for me James son was born ab 1832 m 14/3/1850 to Mary Haydon; Dudly Sorry carnt make out ages on W/C done italics think the church was St James Please Babs x

Is Stroyd a place near Dudley or a family surname? Whenabouts? nell, not from Worchestershire (wherever that is)

Nell ,,, No Stroyd is the family name ;; They all originated from there that is from 1851;; Just wanted to know more about them !!! Babs

You really need to give some names and dates! I assume you mean Worcestershire. Have you tried the 'name search' on this site, to see if anyone is researching the same names as you? Sam x

There are 77 Stroyd bmds in Worcestershire on Ancestry civil reg. and these results for the census: 1851 England Census 7 1861 England Census 32 1871 England Census 9 1881 England Census 15 1891 England Census 18 1901 England Census 30 nell

Sam have tried that and was no responce;; have them in 1851 James b 1832 married to Jane 1832;; loads brithers and sisters !! to late night to go into all them , dont know how to copy paste !! Babs
