1861 census iv tried everything to find Ruth Richardson b 1854 Ellsmere port. Just putting Ruth in and birth details, Richards, Richard don't know what else to do anyone help please. Gill

Where did you get those details from for Ruth? Sometimes people use middle names or even sometimes the actual birth addresses aren't always on the census. Good luck.

Twig her parents are John and Sarah there maybe other children John Sarah and Elizabeth all older. Father may have died in 1855 Mother is Welsh. Gill

Sorry Bev she is Ruth on all other census and birth and marridge. There is no middle name on birth cert.

i found that one on the 1871 census working for a family 'Simpson'. but couldnt locate on 1861.

Yes Twig that's her on 1871 i have the family before she was b on1851 her alone in 71 and married on 81-91-01.

Jess they were in Whitby Cheshire. John is a wharf labourer. Elizabeth was b 1843
