My guess from the possible parents you have for John would be William and Hannah because of the names of his children, but your best bet is to get the birth certificate of one of John's children, which will give you Ann's maiden name, then find John and Ann's marriage and get their marriage certificate, which will give you the name and occupation of John's father. Happy hunting! Kate. P.S. By the way, in case you don't know, the year of birth is not actually given on the census entries, it is just 'age last birthday', so you can't be sure he was born in 1807.
