watch out for Heather she is the expert now but she isnt cheap !!! seriously you should not rely on just this site for your Tree if anything happens you will lose everything get yourself either a free PAF from the latter day saints site or buy FTM its wonderful, Heather will be along in a minute to advise you

You could always have your own FREE website on TribalPages, you can download and store all the details, say once a month, 'just incase' but it's a brill site and you can upload music and pictures etc. Elaine ;-) http://tribalpages(.)com/ ... remove ( ) from the address...

Derbyshire how easy is it to download music onto there have you done it thanks ??

Unknown

Unknown Report 15 May 2006 13:51

Dead easy ! My site is full of music. You just cut and paste the link that they give you in the 'description' box and then add the link to where your particular piece of music is on your PC. It does seem a little baffling to start with, and I screamed for help when I first joined, but now I change the music with my mood ! ... There is an instructions/ help page ........ Elaine ;-)

`````````````````````````*trumpet fanfare - Heather enters Hi guys, nope, Ive booked my saga holiday now so dont need so much commission - talk talk is paying better for promoting their all in one phone/broadband package. It really depends on what you want - the freebies seemed to be used by lots of people but a lot of us have familytreemaker because its linked to ancestry. You can buy it for less than £30 at play*com website which includes 3 months ancestry sub - which aint bad as the sub would cost you about £15 alone. Have a google see what you think. Meanwhile, back to my junior sales associate - Val, you can put music and video clips on FTM cant you? gawd knows how - but I wondered if you had done it. PS Val, Ive bumped up my new sales project in case you want to come on board - Save enough money for 3 or 4 certs per month thread - Im paying £2.50 for each sale you generate.
Hi all, I am also interested in getting FTM 2006 and I have just read the comment by Heather about 90 day access to Ancestry. I would like to know is this full unlimited access to the entire site or just being able to look at stuff but not download i.e. Census pages? Would like any help Regards Steve
Heather
Heather Report 15 May 2006 14:37
Well I can only assume its the full monty otherwise it isnt really a 3 month sub is it? Have a look on play*com Enter Family Tree Maker in the search there.
Heather Report 15 May 2006 14:42
Wouldnt it be great to have a job where you did enjoy selling something for commission, Id love it. Only the products I really felt passionately were good and helped others though. What a shame, missed my vocation in life.
Janet,I haven't been doing this very long either and tried a few of the trial download programs. I found the best for me was Legacy. I used the free version and then liked it so much I bought the full version. it was $30 in Australia so about 12 pounds in UK, I think. Sometimes you just have to try a few. I've since got three different trees on it, printed ancestor books for the family as I go, etc. Pretty good for someone who is fairly useless on computer.
