Gwen are you saying you hae a John Wyatts who is connected to you who died during the war and you have now found a list with several John Wyatts on and how do you know which one is yours? Have you looked at the CWGC site? There are often extra details on there which will allow you to identify the correct soldier. Once you have those details it's Kew for their records, if they have survived. You can download his medal card (once identified) for £3.50 and eventually (no actual timeframe just yet) you will be able to download his records on line (if they've surviived, but until then it's a physical look I'm afraid.
