Property Deeds... Who is responsible?

I understand that some older properties have not been registered, if they have not had a change of ownership.... When the property is sold, who registers with the Land Registry, ...the seller's solicitor..or the buyer's one.?..... will copy this to GENERAL too.

It is the responsibility of the buyer.

Thank you Peter, I thought it might be. I am hoping to retain the deeds, ..or at least have a copy, of the deeds for a property sold last year. I need to do some chasing up after previous wrong information. Gwyn
