Hi Been sitting looking at my Grandfathers Birth Certificate and getting nowhere. Here is what it says: Born 3/7/1853 George Richard Beech Son of Thomas Beech Gamekeeper and Ann Beech formerly Brown . Signed by Ann Beech Mother of Bridgemere. I think this is the family in 1851: Name: Thomas Beech Age: 33 Estimated birth year: abt 1818 Relation: Head Spouse's name: Ann Gender: Male Where born: Hunsterson, Cheshire, England Civil parish: Checkley Cum Wrinehill Ecclesiastical parish: Doddington County/Island: Cheshire Country: England Street address: Registration district: Nantwich Sub-registration district: Wybunbury ED, institution, or vessel: 20 Neighbors: View others on page Household schedule number: 20 Household Members: Name Age Ann Beech 38 Ann Beech 5 Eliza Beech 9 Jane Beech 7 Thomas Beech 33 Checkley cum Wrine Hill is very near to Bridgemere. But can I hell find them in 1861!!!!! Can anybody help please Cheryl

Checked for variations on surname and for each of the children by first name, year and place of birth + parents given names, but nothing. Sorry. This could be one of the pages missing from Ancestry. Could be worth checking local parish records if you have access.

Hi Oz Bird That looks like Ann alright. I can't find any of them in 1871 either. My Great Grandfather George was a real mystery. The only Census I've found him on is 1891 and 1901 when he was living with my Great Gran. He was in the Army for a lot years which is I think where he was in 1881 but he should be on the others. Perhaps Thomas Beech died between census and his wife remarried. George could have been transcribed under the new husbands name.
