Try www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk I'm not sure if it covers Bradford and even if it does they may not be listed but it's worth a try first. I you go to www.ukbmd.org.uk on the left handside is a drop down box where you can chose a county. If you choose the one you are interested in, it then brings up a list of related sites and will tell you which areas have their own local BMD online. Sam x

Both of them were born in Registration District: North Bierely (Bradford). How would I find that out?

Sam

Sam Report 21 May 2007 12:12

Where were they from? Some counties have their own BMD sites and they are usually searchable by name. May be worth a try to save you trawling the indexes! Sam x

Thanks for your help, Sam in Stoke. I was hoping that someone would have this great idea so I would not have to spend hours and the computer. Thanks again

Jonathan was born in 1898 and Edith was born in 1899

In that case unfortunately you will have to trawl through the Marriages index on Ancestry. It could be a long search if they never married! Once you have found a marriage (if you do..) you can then start looking for births of possible children. Sam x

I am strugging to know where to start in trying to find my Great Grandfather's nephews and nieces. I have have got the exact date of birth for two of them but I would like to know whether they got married and had kids etc. Can anyone give suggestions? Cheers

What years? You can use freeBMD to find any marriages and also track them through census records. If it is after 1901, it's a case of trawling through the BMD indexes I'm afraid. Sam x
