What years? You can use freeBMD to find any marriages and also track them through census records. If it is after 1901, it's a case of trawling through the BMD indexes I'm afraid. Sam x |

In that case unfortunately you will have to trawl through the Marriages index on Ancestry. It could be a long search if they never married! Once you have found a marriage (if you do..) you can then start looking for births of possible children. Sam x |

Thanks for your help, Sam in Stoke. I was hoping that someone would have this great idea so I would not have to spend hours and the computer. Thanks again |

Where were they from? Some counties have their own BMD sites and they are usually searchable by name. May be worth a try to save you trawling the indexes! Sam x |

Both of them were born in Registration District: North Bierely (Bradford). How would I find that out? |

Try www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk I'm not sure if it covers Bradford and even if it does they may not be listed but it's worth a try first. I you go to www.ukbmd.org.uk on the left handside is a drop down box where you can chose a county. If you choose the one you are interested in, it then brings up a list of related sites and will tell you which areas have their own local BMD online. Sam x |
