I'm tempted to go for Phoebe as there are no kids on the 1861 comfort has kids but can't find them on 1871 to rule her out Charlotte I don't think so, as they are west bormwuch but on his marriage cert he was still in Tipton in 1868

Thanks all. I've looked for a death of Phoebe and can't find one, I've tried to find the kids that are with Comfort on 1861 in the 1871 and can't find them grrrr families!

can you find any of the three women on 1881/91 or even 1901? look to see if you can find any of their deaths between the census and his remarriage?

I'm not sure how you can find out that this was her for sure... maybe order cert and see if ages tally maybe addresses?
