my second cousin....and I, share the same...Great grandparents Cousin's grandmother, and my Grandfather were brother and sister! hope that makes sense......Lilly

First cousin, once removed. He would be a first cousin of your parent but you're a generation removed. If he had a child, you and the child would be second cousins.

I would call that a second cousin, personally. I reckon on second cousins either being the first cousins of my parents or the children of my own cousins. Don't know whether it's right but that's how I always word it.

I only knew that because I found one of my moms cousins and we joked about it at the time. Mom and Brian hadn't seen each other for about 50 years! Linda
