Some time ago a website was recommended where it was possible to identify military medals. It was a brilliant site with front and back views of each medal and description of the recipients. I can't find it! Does anyone know what it could have been? Thanks Chris

Thanks Jennifer. What a good site. I've marked it for future reference. The one I was looking for though was identifying medals awarded at various campaigns etc. Chris

Hi Chris, Was it the National Archives website? They have pictures of medals and what they were awarded for on there? Susan

Thanks everyone. I've had a good time looking at the sites you suggested I found it by a link on the one Janet recommended. It was Hall of Medals. Thanks so much for your help this afternoon. Chris
