Trying to figure out what Ethel mary Wilson had to do with Robertsons jam (which is now part of Premier Foods), how do i find out? She was born in 18/08/1900 she was born in Carnock, in Scotland and moved sometime later to Shepway in kent, but what happened in between we do not know.

Ethel married Frederick Wilson in Kent, and she was a Wilson before marriage. She died in 1971, in Kent.

Robertsons had factories in other places (Droylsden for instance) but Paisley is the most likely. Maybe the first thing would be to find Ethel living in Paisley in the 1920's?
