Where is St Geo East?

On a birth index the district was written as St Geo East I have looked at the list of register offices but it is not there. Is this the same as the St Geo Hanover Square I am trying to find the registration district for someone baptised at St.Batolph, Bishopsgate London. Any help appreciated. thank you
