Thanks Clive and Linda, I will do as you suggested but I had to write everything down as I am not very good with computers, I run AVG and Ad-Aware just before this and they found nothing wrong, how can that be??? added I also have SpyBot. Betty

The error message is Microsoft's doing - the latest security patch is fighting its own system!! You need to turn off the 'phishing filter' in IE7. Click on Tools on the top bar and then turn off the filter. I use Mozilla Firefox and Apple have just released a Safari (browsers) to run on Windows. Clive

A quick Google suggests it's a problem with Internet Explorer 7 What operating system are you running? Windows XP? Vista? I will dig further an see what I can find for you. You should make sure in any case that all Windows Updates have been applied. Once you've done your clean up: Start Internet Explorer and go to Tools > Windows Update use the Express button to make sure that all essential updates are on your PC

I'm not having any problems with it. It might be time for a bit of housekeping on your PC. Close all open windows on your PC Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup Wait while it analyses you disk: Eventually, it will come up with a suggestion of things it can remove. Check the boxes next to: Temporary Internet Files Recycle Bin Temporary Files Click on <OK> and be patient while the accumulated rubble is removed. Reboot. Go into internet explorer: Tools > Internet Options On the General Tab go to the Delete Temporary Files and Folders button and click on it. On the next screen Delete Cookies Things should now run much faster and this should remove the problems you have had at the same time. Lin
