If she was adopted and you write for a copy of the birth certificate there will be a note on the top right hand corner saying adopted. I wrote for an original certificate which said adopted on although it won’t tell you when, where and by whom., |

There's nothing on the GRO Index image to indicate that she was adopted - but that doesn't mean she wasn't! |
