Hi
I've found a birth record on this site of a
Joanne Amanda Clarke b1977. MMN Clarke in Nottinghamshire.

There is nothing on this record that indicates that this female was adopted. Can anyone please check any other sites for this record to see if they possibly show an endorsement indicating she was adopted?

Many tjanks
Cassie

There's nothing on the GRO Index image to indicate that she was adopted - but that doesn't mean she wasn't!

If she was adopted and you write for a copy of the birth certificate there will be a note on the top right hand corner saying adopted. I wrote for an original certificate which said adopted on although it won’t tell you when, where and by whom.,
Whether this is the norm I’m not sure but worth a try.
