Summer, the name Dorne on the census is probably a mistranscription - the image can only be checked on scotlandspeople (they have Dorne in their transcription).

Summer...If you check out the 1901/1911 Census there is only 1 Breen family and 1 Doran family living Tempo...you may find some connection at a later stage.
Tempo was/is only a small village and in 2001 the pop.was only abt 500.

Hi Potty
Oh yes it does Rose Anns marriage cert says they were married 0m 8th Oct 1909 at the Roman Catholic Church Mossend. It doesn't say where her parents were married. It gives the address as 19 orbiston Bellshill.

On Rose Anns birth cert it definately say mother Bridget 16th may and it looks like Tempo Fermanagh. I took it that this was her dob could it mean something else?

I have a death cert for a Thomas Breen Doran which seems a awful coincidence having bridgets surname in it but not sure if this is the same family. The death is 1955 and says mother bridget breen deceased. It also says widower of Catherine Duffy. The death is Bellshill cant read the street. Do you think this could be Bridgets son ,Rose anns brother ?

That family you listed does look like it is possibly the same family but the surname is different spelling so I am not sure. The son you listed called thhomas could be the son in the death cert as the dates would tie up ie age 11 in cencus and died at age 75 in 1955. What you think please.

Summer,

You say Rose Ann was born 1890 in Scotland and that you have her birth cert? Does the cert not give where and when her parents married?

Is this the family in 1891? If so, your DOB for Bridget is wrong:

Summer the sites I have excess to, marriages for Ballyculter only start at 1845 on 1 site, and nothing coming up on the other, the only way to find this marriage is either to contact the church or go to PRONI when it opens at the end of March. Plus marriages that early will more than likely not have their father's names on it. How or where did you find William John mother's name if you haven't got his death cert ? He was married in Ireland and marriage cert here don't list mother's names.

Mary Jane is the daughter of John & Ellen

If you have Rose Anns birth, what her mother's maiden name?

Again nothing for Mark Quinn with a wife Margaret Killops

Sorry I am not sure I understand who Jane is? Is she the daughter of John and Ellen ?

summer

summer Report 15 Feb 2011 21:03

Hi
This is the correct Morgan family, but I would like to find the parents of john and ellen, their deaths etc.

On rose annes birth cert it gives the date for bridget as 1877 fermanagh.
Thomas was roses father husband of bridget.
I have rose anns dob on her birth cert as 1890 scotland so I am not sure if one of the dates is inaccurate.13 is very young like you say.

Thank you

Hi Maura
That is very kind of you to offer to do a look up for me.
I have several that I am stuck at so I will give a brief over view and you can pick out the name you want.

I am trying to confirm if I have the correct names for both the parents for William J Morgan dob1841 who was born in Ireland. He married at Ballyculter parish down in 11863 to maragret Quinn. I have their marriage cert but I have no proof of parents. except the father is John Morgan 1819 and Ellen Killops, taylor ? I cant go any further back on this line untill I get this and I cannont find Williams death certificate although it appears he died in Scotland, Ayrshire so this does not help.I would love to find more details of john and ellen? their births, deaths, parents or anything.

I am also looking forRose Ann Dorans dob 1890 grandparents Rose Ann married Michael Quinn. Her mother is called Bridget Doran and she was born in 1877 fermanagh . Her father was Thomas Doran. I have hit a brick wall here and cant find any certs or deaths or anything for her parents to lead me to her grandparents.

Other names Mark Quinn 1821 ? Married to Margaret Quinn Maiden name Killops dob 1844 ?

I know this is a lot so just do what you want from this list.
Thank you very much

Hi
I agree, 5 euros a look is definately not cheap. I have been lucky with family search up to a point, but now I am totally stuck in every direction I try to go. LOL.
I had no idea that the 1901 and 1911 cencus were free though thats worth a try.
Anywhere else you can think to look ?
