Great site, bookmarked it!

Additional tip: Since the site doesn't have a search, go to Google, select Advanced Search and type in the name or surname you are interested in in the "all these words" box and put "capitalpunishmentuk.org" in the "Search within a site or domain". This returns just results from that site.

Or as a shortcut just add "site:capitalpunishmentuk.org" to the end of the text in the normal Google search box.

Mark.

You don't have to go to google to search for names on page, you could just stay on the capital punishment website and hold down the ctrl key as well as the letter f (ctrl + f) type in the surname you want and hit the enter key, it will take you through all the matches.

just to add to what I said......using the ctrl + f to find words, it only searches the page you are on.

OMG - fancy being hung for 'Uttering'!!!
Imagine how many people (those who walk along using their mobiles) would be hung for this 'offence' nowadays!!! LOL

MarkMorgan Report 13 Aug 2010 11:22

Nicola, yes you can search the page using the browser's in-built 'find' facility but by using Google you can search all pages on the site in one go.

Maggie, I had to look up Uttering when I saw it and it turns out that it is an archaic legal term for forgery http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uttering and is still in use in legal circles.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uttering

And from the Oxford Dictionary "put (forged money) into circulation".

Note all the other hangings for Coining H/T (High Treason) which was clipping the edges off of the coins because they were made of gold and silver.

Cheers,
Mark.

It is so sad to see the murders of so many "Bastard Children" and the rapes of so many children. Some things have n't changed.
