I wonder if any of you lovely people can help me.
I have recently found out that my father was not actually my father at all. I know the name of the man who is my birth father, and I think I have found his birth in the birth records, I have also found what I believe to be his marriage in the marriage records. I know where he lived in 1970 but I don't know where else to look to try and find him after that.
I am from Lancashire but now live in Scotland. any tips help would be appreciated. I don't want to post names/dates etc on the public forum in case I upset anyone who doesn't know about this. I don't mind giving the information via private message :-)
Thanks in advance.
