Not sure what else you are looking for..............

Can I just say that I don't understand your unwillingness to accept that John was dead by the time one of his children married..........

Being dead doesn't alter the fact that he was that person's father.................

My father was dead when I married........but his name is on my marriage cert, simply because he WAS my father....

Thanks for the information and clearing up that problem

John and charlotte mcdowell were william henry b 20/12/1847 parents
john died 11/9/1849
