	I'm another who has tried to advise June in the past .................... unfortunately, she tends to think that any photo shown in the avatar most of us have, is actually from her family ........ in other words, that we are related to her and showing her relevant photos..
	Researching: My brother, photo taken in September 1991 just a couple of weeks before he died. ............................................................ To help us and to get better results, please post as much detail as you can, especially name, date(s) and place. Also say what you already know.

	Hello June, Before you ask for help you need to read the information 'ABSOLUTE BASICS FOR BEGINNERS' and 'PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING'. I think you will find that this tread belongs to Elaine and not you. You need to start your own thread and then heed the advice offered by others on here. You could be confusing information given to Elaine's thread - this belongs to Elaine. Hope you understand. Sappho.

	June A year ago I uploaded my tree to Ancestry. For free any stories or photos can be copied from public trees. This is mine so far:- Tree Summary 9253 People 1705 Photos<<<<<<< 200 Stories 33 Comments Maybe you might be as lucky. PS Have found a few trees of your relatives but no photos as yet.

	Mike June has many threads where she has been looking for photographs over the years. I have tried to explain that she needs to contact people who have her family in their trees and also it is likely no photos exist as it was very expensive back then. I know we do not have any family wedding photos before the 1930s

	June, is this request related to the opening post ? If not you should start your own new post setting out exactly what you are looking for . It might help if you introduced some fullstops otherwise it seems a little jumbled.

Member Since: October 2007 Posts: 273 Send Message	Despite the rise of photo-booths and instant digital photos, there are still quite a lot of professional photo studios around, and some of these are old-established, even going back to the late 19th century. If you're lucky you might find one or two in the right area of the country who have preserved records (and even negatives) from the early days - but note the words "if", "lucky" and "might". My problem is the opposite - a lot of photos I can't identify, but that's on the back burner for now.
