Children on 1911 census:

DYER, EDWARD mms STOCK
GRO Reference: 1900 M Quarter in WEST HAM Volume 04A Page 125

Births Mar 1898 (>99%)
DYER Esther W. Ham 4a 31
[I don't see this one on the GRO website ]

DYER, EMILY MAUD mms STOCK
GRO Reference: 1894 S Quarter in WEST HAM Volume 04A Page 155
[This is presumably Emily rose on 1911 census ]

I don't see John William so far.

EDIT:
Ancestry suggests this is him, but I can't find this on GRO either:

Births Jun 1892 (>99%)
Dyer John Stanley W. Ham 4a 145

In any case, I think that's this child:

The children's names seem to change around a lot! I've found these that kind of match some of the names but it's a different mother's MS. :-S

and for Alice M in 1901? Dosn't fit very well, I know but none of the names do.

It's a long story but there is a connection to the Drury name for Sarah Ann so i'll really have to think about this. Very odd
Thanks

Crikey i just think you found alot of what i was looking for over a number of years. Sarah Ann Stock mother was called Harriett. Without looking at my records right now i'm sure she married a man called Drury and Sarah is listed in 1881 as Sarah Drury living in Mile End Road. Still letting that all sink in

yes thats correct. By getting the birth certificates, it will help me pin point where they lived and i want to get death certificates as it says on the 1911 census that 6 children have died It's really the father John George William Dyer born in Bridgwarer Somerset 1849 that i want to find in 1861,,71,81 census but i've been there before and got stuck so that is something i will follow up later. Thanks again for all your help. I really appreciate it

Yes the marriage is correct. John is a 2 year old in south wales in 1851. Father is William Dyer, labourer, later a carpenter. Mother is Ann Dyer. One brother called William and a sister called Hannah if i remember correctly. Then that's it until he appears on the marriage certificate London in the 1880;s so you can see why it's a bit of a struggle. I don't think i will find him as i think they ended up working on the railways and travelled all over the place. It's almost as if he didn't want to be found.
Thanks anyway

Yes John had his brother William, also Lot and George Benjamin. They are all over the place including Chepstow and Birmingham but they are never together. John is never seen with them after 1851 so don't worry about trying to find him. Maybe he was in prison ??
