I am trying to find how Sarah Cox ties into the family Day/Venner,
I understand Sarah and George were the propretor of Stalactite Cavern in the 1851 Census and they had many children...
Did one of their daughters marry a Venner???
Was Sarah a Day before she married George Cox????

maybe there is no connection but I have always been told as a young child they are connected way back!!!!!!

Regards

We can't realistically hope to help you with finding a link unless you give us details of the 'other' family.

An aside, but wonder whether Sarah Gough is related to the Richard Gough that Gough's cave in Cheddar Gorge is named after?

EDIT: Richard was actually named Richard Cox Gough.

EDIT 2: A Richard Cox Gough was baptised 1827 Bedminster son of James and Lydia, whose marriage was posted earlier. For some reason I'm getting network errors and can't access the full transcript/record.
