I am searching for a birth or details of Parents for James William Lee. I have the following details. On 7th May 1926 he is named as Father on the Birth Certificate of his son. born at 3 Wroxton Road Peckham Camberwell London. His occupation is given as Motor Body Builder.I am not aware he was married to the Mother Annie Selina Holgate. I have found James on the Electoral registers in 1926 and 1927 living at 3 Wroxton Road with a couple named Frederick Tomlin and Annie Tomlin. I have found a 1911 census for Peckham naming a James William age 3 (born 1888) with Parents William Lee and and Mother Louisa but cant prove this is right family . . Also Annie a sibling age 14 is on this census. (born ). May be James William Lee was living with his Sister in 1926/7 ?? On the Marriage certificate for his son in 1948 (March 27th at St Saviouirs Church Lambeth James William Lee is recorded as Deceased. Thanks for your help Kind Regards Pam

Thanks for all the replies. I do have the details for Annie Selina Knott as this is my Great Grandmother. The Holgate families have some same names but are different branches. It is James William Lee that is proving difficult to find as he never married the Mother of his child born in 1926. I am trying to establish which Holgate family it relates to. I have looked for a death for James William Lee before 1948 but again more than one possibility. Thanks again to you all. Pam

Apologies for late reply but have just finished a 12 hour night shift at work. Just for the record Stephen AW Cuzner and Florence Maud Holgate are my Grandparents And my G Grandparents are Henry Holgate and Annie Selina Knott. I have since come across a second Birth entry for the child born on 7th May 1926. They both have the same Vol Page numbers 1d 1313 June 1926 but the other one is registered under Holgate with MMN also Holgate. The one I have is under Lee I wonder if it is worth getting the other one in caae it gives a different address for Annie Selina Holkgate. Not sure why it was registered twice? The Stuart place address and Palestine grove Merton Mitcham. relates to my Holgate families. Thanks for all your hard work Kind Regards Pam
