Find Ancestors

Hi
Please could anyone find the above couple on the 1911 census for padiham area of Burnley . They married at St leonards church or all saints habergham in 1899 . First child Isaac born 1900 died as a baby as did Edward another son born 1907 . In between they had Anne alice 1901 and Maggie approx 1905. Think john was final child in 1910. Please could anyone find them on the 1911 census ?

The number of children born etc referred to the wife, not to the marriage ........... this can be confusing if she had children before the marriage from a previous marriage or illegitimately.

This has confused several of us in the past!

Ah. Well that's useful to know. Only approx 18 at marriage though ann Blackburn . Think birn 1881 according to census . Not found a birth for her yet . :-)

Think it's the one born ann Ellen Blackburn September quarter of 1880 with mums maiden name being starkie :-)

Unfortunately, only the Banns have been transcribed on LanOPC site, so no info about the fathers

No Shirley, Jane Ann Starkie's mothers maiden name was Green. Jane Ann was born Starkie, as was the illegitimate daughter.
